It was with great pleasure that we welcomed a team from the Universidad Autónoma de Chile last Friday.
During this visit we gathered both President and Vice Presidents of the School oh Health, Professors Cristina Prudêncio, Miguel Saúde and Nuno Rocha, alongside the Department Head of Planning, Evaluation and Quality, Ana Xavier, as well as our International Officer, Rita Geriante and Rosália Fonte (through zoom). From Chile we received Vice Rectors Professors Teodoro Concha and Ezequiel Beneit on-site and Camila Ordones, Head of the International Relations Office (through zoom).
Our President, Professor Cristina Prudêncio, offered a rich and solid presentation about our School of Health and enlightened the common interests that already exist and also may arise in a future that draws near. From Chile we were also offered a very enlightening overview of the institutional context from the Universidad Autónoma de Chile.
Through this meeting we strengthened cohesion between our institutions, regarding collaboration in both Research and Education fields, as well as taking part in common interest networks namely Social and Health Responsibility, Sustainability, among others. It was also discussed the participation and mobility allowed through our application to ERASMUS International Credit Mobility.
This meeting took place allowing to explore collaboration opportunities and widen institutional knowledge, previewing future fruitful exchanges and mobilities reinforcing the connection between Portugal and the Ibero American networks.
