Our school’s Vice-President, Prof. Miguel Saúde, was at the University of Malta for the kick-off face-to-face meeting of the ECHOES Project. This European-funded venture aims to develop an online platform where higher education institutions worldwide can contact healthcare experts and professionals internationally to participate in educational and research projects.
This platform will be available for free, and healthcare professionals and experts can sign up and register their areas of expertise, making themselves available and accessible to higher education institutions worldwide for collaboration. ECHOES will also include an online videoconference tool that will deepen and facilitate these collaboration opportunities.
The kick-off meeting was held at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Malta as the project coordinator, alongside partners such as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), PMF research from Italy, Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) from Finland and the International Network for Health Workforce Education (INHWE).
The School of Health participates in this project as an Associate Partner.
