Two ESS teams take part in International Credit Mobility programmes

PROJECT REFERENCE: 2019-1-PT01-KA107-060459 Last week, from 1st to 7th of May, two teams from the School of Health had the opportunity to perform a mobility period abroad, under the scope of International Credit Mobility (ICM) Erasmus+ Programme.

The University of Mindelo in Cape Verde welcomed 4 staff members of our School: Catarina Mateus, Paula Lopes, Paula Teixeira and Rui Macedo. Under the scope of the visit it was possible to gather different experiences and meet different departments. It was a very enriching experience, providing a follow up on our ongoing collaboration.

As for the University of East Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina, 3 members of our School were also welcomed: Cristina Mesquita, Paula Santos and Rita Geriante. During these days several meetings were held, and there was also the chance to visit clinical units such as the local Hospital. It was revealed to be a fruitful occasion where it was possible to discuss cooperation opportunities.

To both these institutions we would like to express our gratitude for the warm welcome given to our staff. We look forward to meet you again here in Porto, during the next month.

The Erasmus+ Programme is one of the strongest builder of the European reality, through its specific measure ICM mobility opportunities for students, teachers and staff of higher education institutions outside Europe are offered. This programme also offers the same possibility for students, teachers and staff from institutions in partner countries (non-European) to undertake a mobility period in higher education institutions that hold the Erasmus Charter in Europe.
