Basic Lab Skills for Research on Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology (5th Edition)

The Center for Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology Research (TBIO) proposes an introductory course to Basic Lab Skills for Research on Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology to welcome all recent Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students.

This 5th edition will be dedicated to learning the fundamentals in several Biomedical, Translational, and Industrial scientific areas and improving Lab and Research skills through sessions selected from a varied offer. All the sessions will be coordinated by Researchers or Professors at TBIO and the School of Health with the participation of Researchers from TBIO and Guest Professors/Researchers/Industrial Representatives from other institutions, both national and International.

As contents, this course encompasses a wide range of knowledge and contact with several health frameworks, namely the pharmaceutical Industry, Spinoffs, Laboratory Sciences, Biosafety, Quality Control, Biostatistics in Health, as well as Scientific Writing. The course will also promote the achievement of skills and basic competencies on how to design a research grant for funding.

The 5th edition of the Basic Lab Skills for Research on Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology will take place from the 23rd March to the 9th April. Enrollment is mandatory and attendance has an associated cost.
