This course has the following objectives:

- to have theoretical and clinical knowledge for the collection and interpretation of relevant clinical data, aiming at clinical decision-making;

- acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge for the proper and effective application of hand and upper limb rehabilitation techniques;

- identify and select the different evaluation and diagnostic procedures related to hand and upper limb disorders and implement counseling strategies aimed at preventing disorders and clinical intervention programs;

- demonstrate understanding and evaluate treatment methods including positioning, support, elevation, compression, immobilization, mobilization and decision making based on the best clinical evidence available;

- develop a project that contributes to scientific or clinical enrichment in this area of training.
