This master's degree is unique in Portugal and aims to prepare professionals from various areas to deepen and develop skills and knowledge in Audiology, in their area of professional activity: - Contribute to the development and/or improvement of skills in Audiology, as a science integrated into a plural vision of human health; - Provide conditions for the sustainable development of creative/innovative approaches in Audiology; - To promote ethically responsible research in the areas of prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation, to respond to current challenges, particularly in social, cultural and community terms; - Provide entities responsible for providing services with qualified staff for the management and integration of human resources and technology in business, clinical and educational environments; - Contribute to entrepreneurship and sustainability, in different areas of activity at national and international level.

Holders of a two-stage degree in Audiology, a degree in Audiology, or legal equivalent and holders of other related degrees considered suitable for entry into the Course (e.g. Educational Sciences, Special Education, Sign Language, Social Education, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering); holders of a foreign higher academic degree, in the areas of health or related areas, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the Bologna principles by a state adhering to this process; holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as satisfying the objectives of the degree of Bachelor in Audiology by the Technical-Scientific Council of the Higher School of Health; holders of an academic, scientific and professional curriculum, which is recognized as attesting to the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies by the Technical-Scientific Council of Health School.
