The program emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration in the development of original research, aiming to create innovative products and services, disseminate scientific knowledge in high-impact international publications, and provide comprehensive training for integration into the advanced job market.

a) Holders of a master's degree or equivalent in the following fields of study (Ordinance No. 256/2005 of March 16): Health, Social Services, Personal Services, Environmental Protection, Security Services, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering and related techniques, Social and Behavioral Sciences; b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree in one of the areas mentioned in paragraph a) that complies with the Bologna process or is recognized by the Technical-Scientific Council (CTC) of the School of Health (E2S|P.PORTO) as meeting the objectives of the master's degree. c) Holders of a school, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized by the CTC of the E2S|P.PORTO as attesting to the capacity to undertake this Program. It is required that the student presents a level of linguistic competence in English compatible with at least B1.
