The School of Health (ESS) is the largest Portuguese higher education institution in the area of healthcare technologies. With its 2,250 students, 312 teaching staff members, 19 undergraduate degrees, seven masters' degrees and several continuing education courses, the School is the third biggest in P.PORTO.
ESS has the following degree courses*:
- Audiology;
- Biomedical Laboratory Sciences;
- Clinical Physiology;
- Environmental Health;
- Medical Biotechnology;
- Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy;
- Occupational Therapy;
- Orthoptics;
- Ostheopathy;
- Pharmacy;
- Physiotherapy;
- Speech Therapy.
* The language of instruction is Portuguese. In some cases we could offer internship and tutorials in English.
Documents to be filled and send by mail:
- Learning Agreement;
- Official Transcript of Records from home University;
- 1 passport-size colour photos;
- Identification Card for citizens of the European Union and associated countries or valid passport for citizens of all other countries;
- European Health Card or Valid Medical Insurance.
Application deadline for incoming students:
- June 1st for the first semester and whole academic year
- November 15th for the second semester
